It has been estimated that well over half of the chronic or acutely disabling diseases in the United States could be prevented with positive lifestyle interventions. My goal is to form a relationship with my patients and help them learn to feel better, live healthier and prevent disease. Health has been described as the absence of disease. We should all strive for health as well as a functional and productive life as long as possible; the goal should not be to just live longer but instead to function at the highest level as possible for the longest amount of time.
